Our Promise, In Writing

Every Roof Backed by a 5-Year Workmanship Warranty

A roof is only as good as the crew that installs it. That's why every roof we build is covered — in writing — against leaks caused by workmanship defects for five full years. You get a signed warranty certificate for your property, and it's transferable if you sell your home.

What's Covered — and What Isn't

No surprises. Here's exactly what the workmanship warranty does and doesn't cover, in plain English.

✅ Covered

  • The entire roof — not just sections we touched
  • Leaks caused by workmanship defects
  • Five full years from project completion
  • One-time transfer to a new homeowner (within 1 year of issue)
  • Backed by a signed certificate with your name and property address

❌ Not Covered

  • Lightning, hurricane, tornado, or hail damage
  • Gale-force winds (50+ mph)
  • Ice damage or impact from foreign objects
  • Cracking to walls or foundation of the building
  • Damage caused by other parties or trades

Good news: storm events like these are exactly what your homeowner's insurance is for. If a storm damages your roof, we inspect it free and provide the documentation your claim needs.

Three Layers Protecting Your Roof

The workmanship warranty is one layer. Here's the full picture.

🛠️

5-Year Workmanship Warranty

Our written promise that the roof was installed right. If a leak traces back to workmanship, we fix it. Period.

🏭

Manufacturer Material Warranty

Your shingles, metal, or tile carry the manufacturer's own warranty on the materials themselves — often decades of coverage, registered in your name.

🛡️

Insurance Claim Support

For storm events warranties don't cover, we provide free inspections and thorough documentation you can use with your insurance claim.

A Warranty Is Only as Good as the Company Behind It

Plenty of roofers promise a warranty — until the phone stops ringing. Providential Roofing & Construction is dual-licensed (roofing #CCC1333042 and residential contracting #CRC1333797), has completed 1,000+ projects, and assigns a dedicated project manager to every job from start to finish. When you call about your warranty, a real person who knows your project answers.

Warranty FAQ

When does my warranty start?

Your 5-year workmanship warranty begins on the completion date of your project. You receive a signed certificate listing your name, property address, and the exact coverage dates.

Is the warranty transferable if I sell my home?

Yes — one time, within one year of the date of issue. A transferable roof warranty is a genuine selling point when you list your home.

What if a storm damages my roof?

Storm damage (hurricane, hail, high winds) falls under your homeowner's insurance rather than the workmanship warranty. Call us for a free inspection and we'll document everything your claim needs.

How do I make a warranty claim?

Call or email us with your name and property address. Because a dedicated project manager handled your job from start to finish, we already know your roof — and we'll get eyes on the problem fast.

Do the materials have their own warranty too?

Yes. The manufacturer's material warranty on your shingles, metal, tile, or stone-coated steel is separate from and in addition to our workmanship warranty.

This page is a plain-English summary. The signed warranty certificate issued at project completion is the governing document, including full terms, conditions, and exclusions.
